New blog design... your thoughts and help please!

So, how does it look? Any techies, or expert bloggers, among you? If so, how the hell do I widen my pic of Manchester and add background pics? I'm also struggling to change the font size on my blog intro' under the title.
Feedback and tips appreciated.
Cheers,
Col

Wish I could help, Col. Seem to spend most of my time changing this and that and none of it working.

This new age technology is a bitch.

Off to send some more angry tweets to BT bloody broadband.

Looks great, bud. J know we spoke yesterday but it's just a case of tinkering until you get it to what you're happy with. I lost patience with mine, hence no picture. I may have a play with mine today.....then sort my blog out!!

Looks good, Col. I finally had to get a picture and edit it down to the right dimensions and then adjust my side bars to fit the width of the picture.

As others have said, a lot of fiddling.

But you do a lot of fiddling around anyhow, don't you? Sorry, wrong kind of fiddling!

Mike, I am appalled at what you are insinuating there. You calling me a 'fiddler'? Damn. Here's me thinking my secret was safe. Hey, ho. Off for a fiddle then! :-)

Thanks for the tips, bud.

Looks like it is coming along. When in doubt, I usually google for what I am trying to do, plus a lot of trial and error. I work in technology and hate every minute of it. Good luck with the makeover!

Bet it's tough on the mind, coming home after a day of technology to summon the mental strength to write.

Cheers for the feedback, bud.
